No Stallone for Expendables 4?

When you think about The Expendables, the first thing that usually comes to mind is its creator: Sylvester Stallone; so it's going to be strange if you remove Stallone from Expendables.

Stellar Cast for The Hitman's Bodyguard

I'm guessing we wont be seeing a movie with Deadpool, Nick Fury, Commissioner Gordon and Elektra (yet). But Ryan Reynolds, Samuel L. Jackson, Gary Oldman and Elodie Yung, along with Salma Hayek will be together in a film entitled "The Hitman's Bodyguard" which is an action comedy directed by Patrick Hughes (who directed "The Expendables 3" and "Red Hill") and written by Tom O'Connor. Michael B. Jordan takes on The Thomas Crown Affair

Fast-rising actor Michael B. Jordan (not to be confused with the basketball legend, okay?) has proven time and again just how talented he is, especially with the recent success of "Creed" and his previous roles in films such as "Fruitvale Station" and "Chronicle" (just dont count his involvement in last year's awful "Fantastic Four"). MGM, the studio that produced CREED, is very pleased with the actor that they've decided to attach him to one of their upcoming films, "The Thomas Crown Affair" which is the second remake of the 1968 classic of the same title, which starred Steve McQueen. This film was also remade by Die Hard and Predator director John McTiernan back in 1999, and it starred Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo. The result was decent, but not quite remarkable. The premise, however, is simple and timeless, and so long as the writing, directing, and acting talent is in place, there's no reason why this film shouldn't be something quite appealing. Idris Elba in talks to be Star Trek 3 Villain

Looks like we're getting our first real good news off the Star Trek 3 project. Idris Elba is in talks to play the Star Trek 3 villain, although there are no details on the role beyond saying he’s the film’s antagonist. This is awesome because Elba has indeed been proving lately how great of an actor he is, and we would like to see more of him, especially in strong characters in big genre films.
Star Trek 3 is set to open July 8, 2016.

Beauty and the Beasts' Gaston and the Beast has been Cast

As many of you already know, Disney is making a "Beauty and the Beast" live action movie to add to their recent live-action remakes of their princess fairy tales (what with "Maleficent" re-imagining the Sleeping Beauty story from its "supposed-villain" point of view, and the upcoming "Cinderella" which just looks like a plain live-action remake of the fairy tale Disney cartoon). Emma Watson is already set to play Belle (the story's Beauty), and now, the cast for its two other major characters have recently been named. "Downton Abbey" star Dan Stevens will be playing the Beast, while Luke Evans will play the arrogant villain Gaston. Bill Condon, who directed "Dreamgirls" and "Gods and Monsters", is set to helm this Disney live-action.

Will Nathan Fillion be Nova in Guardians of the Galaxy?

Basically, the answer is No. For quite a while now, there had been reports that Nathan Fillion will have a role in the upcoming Marvel sci-fi adventure "Guardians of the Galaxy" and most of the geek community is rooting for him to play the superhero Nova or Nova Prime. Well they just have to rest that idea, and be happy enough with the idea with him being on the movie for a "fun" cameo.

James Gunn himself, who worked with Fillion on Slither, Super, and PG-Porn, confirmed the debunk, via twitter, stating:
"The rumors of my pal Nathan Fillion playing Nova in "Guardians of the Galaxy" have been greatly (and entirely) exaggerated. Sorry, humans." he continues "He (Fillion) has a very small fun cameo he did as a favor to me."
Guardians of the Galaxy opens in Philippine cinemas July 30, 2014.
