Han Solo Movie will also feature Chewbacca Origin
During the Deutsche Bank 2016 Media, Internet & Telecom Conference, Disney boss Bob Iger talked about the plans for both "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" and the eventual spin-off that focuses on a young Han Solo. While Iger more or less rehashed the logline of Rogue One, he also revealed that the as of yet untitled Han Solo movie will actually be an origin story about Solo and his buddy and smuggling partner Chewbacca. Phil Lord and Chris Miller to direct a Han Solo Movie
Lucasfilm has announced that "The LEGO Movie" and "21 Jump Street" directoring duo Phil Lord and Chris Miller will take the helm of an untitled Star Wars Anthology film focusing on the adventures of young Han Solo, slated for release on May 25, 2018. The picture already has a screenplay by "The Empire Strikes Back" writer and "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" co-writer Lawrence Kasdan and his son Jon Kasdan, who wrote and directed the indie drama "In the Land of Women". Star Wars Spin-off movie entitled "Rogue One" is set on December 2016; Episode VIII set on May 2017
Two big news for Star Wars fans; "Star Wars: Rogue One" will be the title of the spin-off movie coming next year from Godzilla director Gareth Edwards and writer Chris Weitz, and it will star Felicity Jones (The Theory of Everything) as its lead character. As for the second news, as you all know; Episode VII will be opening this December, and the movie next in line with that chapter "Star Wars: Episode VIII" will have its release date now set on May 26, 2017. The Raid Actors Included in Star Wars: The Force Awakens
The main cast of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" had long been announced, a teaser has already been out, and it's pretty much set to be released on December this year. But news came out that the cast also includes some Indonesian martial arts stars from the popular "The Raid" movies.
Twitch has learned that a key trio of performers from Gareth Evans' The Raid and The Raid 2 - leading man Iko Uwais, Mad Dog / Prakoso actor Yayan Ruhian and The Raid 2 finale fighter Cecep Arif Rahman, credited simply as The Assassin - will all appear in JJ Abrams' upcoming Star Wars: Episode 7 - The Force Awakens. STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS is the official title of Episode VII
Just days ago, we reported that principal photography for the latest Star Wars movie has wrapped. Now, Lucasfilm has revealed the official Star Wars: Episode VII title, "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" and of course, the title makes sense, considering that this will be a return from the supposed-happy ending that "Return of the Jedi" (Episode VI) had. We have yet to get an official synopsis for this upcoming epic.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens is due in theaters on December 18, 2015 and stars John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Harrison Ford, Adam Driver, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Lupita Nyong’o, Oscar Isaac, Domhnall Gleeson, Andy Serkis, Gwendoline Christie and more.

Star Wars Episode VII Just Finished Filming
After months since it principal photography in May, production on STAR WARS Episode VII, which is set to debut in theaters on December 18, 2015, has recently officially wrapped. The cast and crew recently finished their final days of shooting at England's Pinewood Studios. The end of photography was marked by a warm thank you card signed by director J.J. Star Wars Episode VII's " Force for Change" Campaign Video teases X-Wing
Months ago, we reported about director J.J. Abrams unveiling “Force for Change”, which gave fans a chance to win a visit to the set of Star Wars: Episode VII and cameo in the film in exchange for making a donation to UNICEF. Even if you didn’t win the top prize of the visit and the cameo, there were still prize levels based on the amount of your donation, and most importantly, you were contributing to a good cause. Rian Johnson will write and direct Star Wars Episode VIII and Episode IX
Now here's some big Big news... While the JJ Abrams directed Star Wars: Episode VII is on its way, the next two Star Wars movies (Episode VIII and IX) will be written and directed by Rian Johnson (who directed Brick, The Brothers Bloom, and Looper). Rian Johnson is one of those extremely masterful directors working in Hollywood right now, and this is such a huge positive movie for Disney for picking him to helm the next two movies. Two pretty solid actresses are going to a galaxy far far away as well. Lupita Nyong’o and Gwendoline Christie has joined the recently announced cast of Star Wars: Episode VII.
This year, Lupita Nyong’o's breakthrough performance in 12 Years a Slave earned her an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. While Gwendoline Christie, currently starring in the hit television series Game of Thrones as Brienne of Tarth, has also been cast in the production. She can next be seen in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2.

Disney plans to make three more Star Wars spin-off movies
Once the Star Wars property fell into the hands of Disney, we can be sure to assume that Disney would be driving this big potential franchise machine into maximum capacity. They suddenly have this flood of ideas for the Star Wars property. Aside from the upcoming Star Wars: Episode 7, there's the planned TV series, one of them is the animated TV series Star Wars Rebels which is already set to be launched.
