Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor is revealed

This week, we got our first look at Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor for the upcoming DC movie "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice". To fans of the genre, it was not really much of a surprise, the character Lex Luthor is indeed expected to be bald.

Here’s what director Zack Snyder had to say about Eisenberg’s rendition of the character:
“He’s not any of the Lexes that you’ve seen, that’s for sure, other than him being a captain of industry and one person to the world and another person to himself. And bald, of course. Our Lex is disarming and he’s not fake. He says what he believes and he says what’s on his mind. If you can unravel the string and decipher what he means, it’s all there.” [hit the jump to continue]

Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead director Michelle MacLaren Helms the Wonder Woman Movie

Michelle MacLaren who is well known for directing episodes of “Breaking Bad”, “The Walking Dead” and "Game of Thrones" (probably three of the greatest series that hit TV recently) has been picked to both develop and direct the "Wonder Woman" solo film with Charles Roven and Zack and Deborah Snyder producing. Gal Gadot is already set to play Wonder Woman, who will also be making her first screen appearance in 2016 with "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice". Is Jena Malone playing Robin in Batman v Superman?

Several sources have confirmed that Jena Malone will indeed appear in the upcoming DC film "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice", but there’s been no confirmation on which DC character will she be portraying. While I would personally think she would be great as the Superman villainess named Livewire, all the commonly-buzzing speculation points to the idea that she might be playing the character named Carrie Kelley who is best known as the female version of Batman's sidekick Robin. New Image of Ben Affleck as Batman for the Upcoming Batman V Superman

The San Diego Comic-con this year is warming up with a new Ben Affleck Batman v Superman image that gives us another look at Affleck as the Caped Crusader.  The image premiered on the convention floor at the DC Booth to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Batman character.  This image is a much tighter shot than the previous character reveal, giving us a great look at how Affleck really fits that gritty Batman look.

Filming is underway on Warner Bros. Pictures’ “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” the highly anticipated action adventure from director Zack Snyder, starring Henry Cavill in the role of Clark Kent/Superman, and Ben Affleck as BruceWayne/Batman.

“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” also stars Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, with Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane returning from “Man of Steel,” Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, and Holly Hunter in a role newly created for the film.[hit the jump to continue]

First Official Photo of Superman for the Upcoming "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice"

It's almost two months since we got to see our first glimpse of the new Batman [Click Here to go to that story]. Now, Warner Bros. Pictures has revealed the first photo (via USA Today) of the Man of Steel star as Superman in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" ...a photo that looks like it's part of a larger poster (that might eventually reveal the other characters in the movie).  Days ago, photo of Cavill as Clark Kent also surfaced.

Director Zack Snyder tells the newspaper that adding DC Comics characters such as Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher) makes the movie "thicker, denser and more epic" than Man of Steel and allows it to be the next step toward building a strong movie universe that will ultimately lead to Snyder's Justice League. Well, we sure do hope that they know what they're doing. [hit the jump to see the other photo and to read Zack Snyder's explanation why the use of "V" instead of "Vs" in the title]

Zack Snyder will direct the Justice League movie

Days ago, we reported that the yet-untitled Zack Snyder Superman/Batman movie has added the character known as Cyborg as another one of the superheroes making an appearance in the movie (the other is Wonder Woman). Many have also noted that this upcoming movie is starting to look like a Justice League movie. Well, we knew that it would eventually come, but it's actually too soon for that. Now, it has been announced that there is indeed going to be a Justice League movie, and Zack Snyder will be the director. Justice League will shoot back-to-back with Superman/Batman, according to Borys Kit, reporter for the Wal Street Journal. Superman/Batman is set for a May 6, 2016 release, while the Justice League movie is set for 2017.

The Superhero Character named Cyborg to join the Untitled Superman/Batman Movie

Oh dont look now, coz theyre also adding the superhero CYBORG as one of the characters for the upcoming yet-untitled Superman/Batman movie. The sequel for MAN OF STEEL looks like it does not want to focus merely on Superman (played by Henry Cavill), but seems to be aimed at introducing a whole lot of characters. Of course, we already have Batman to be played by Ben Affleck, Wonder Woman who will be played by Gal Gadot. And now we're having Cyborg, and he will be played by Ray Fisher. Just like me, almost all of you may not know who Ray Fisher is. It's because he's not really an actor; Ray Fisher is an American football player.

In the comics, CYBORG is Victor Stone, while visiting his parents (who are scientists), a freak laboratory incident occurs and a monster severely mutilates him. In order to save his life, his father outfits him with experimental prosthetics of his own design.

Snyder Reveals Reasons Behind the Batman vs Superman Idea

Many of us know that in the geek world, everybody's still debating whether it was a good idea to make the second Superman movie (to come out of the "Man of Steel" reboot) a crossover Batman/Superman movie. In interview with Forbes magazine has revealed why they went with this idea:

"After Man of Steel finished and we started talking about what would be in the next movie, I started subtly mentioning that it would be cool if he faced Batman. In the first meeting, it was like, “Maybe Batman?” Maybe at the end of the second movie, some Kryptonite gets delivered to Bruce Wayne’s house or something. Like in a cryptic way, that’s the first time we see him. But then, once you say it out loud, right? You’re in a story meeting talking about, like, who should [Superman] fight if he fought this giant alien threat Zod who was basically his equal physically, from his planet, fighting on our turf…  You know, who to fight next? The problem is, once you say it out loud, then it’s kind of hard to go back, right? Once you say, “What about Batman?” then you realize, “Okay, that’s a cool idea. What else?” I mean, what do you say after that?"

The wait is finally over. We now have a new Batman. Ending weeks of speculation, Ben Affleck has been set to star as Batman, a.k.a.
