Andrea Berloff to Write The Legend of Conan

Universal is moving forward with its new Conan the Barbarian movie which will bring back Arnold Schwarzenegger to the title role which gave birth to his superstardom. According to the Deadline website, Andrea Berloff (World Trade Center) has been tapped to pen the script for The Legend of Conan. Expected to be a continuation of the 1980's continuity of Conan films (and disregarding the awful 2011 reboot) and will follow Conan as the titular king, focusing on his efforts to retain his throne as his reign comes to a close. New CONAN Movies Confirmed, with Schwarzenegger reprising the lead role

Arnold Schwarzenegger has been set to return to his iconic role (the role that started his career); Conan the Barbarian. The King Conan movie was a project that was in development right before Schwarzenegger got too busy with him being the Governor of California a couple of years back. Now, Paradox Entertainment (the current property holders of the Conan franchise) President and CEO Frederik Malmberg has confirmed that this project will indeed be happening, and this new Conan movie is being prepped to be the start of a new Conan trilogy. Schwarzenegger is Back! He targets to be around on the sequels to TERMINATOR, TWINS, CONAN, EXPENDABLES; and set to appear in TEN and ESCAPE PLAN

After quite a long time, Schwarzenegger is BACK. Arnold Schwarzenegger will be back for another TERMINATOR movie. The legendary action actor is also setting his sights on a Conan sequel entitled KING CONAN, a TWINS sequel, and to make another appearance in the third EXPENDABLES movie. Terminator 5 is set to shart shooting in January 2014. But before that, we will be seeing Schwarzenegger in January with the movie TEN, and on October this year with the movie ESCAPE PLAN.
