Georgian Film Festival this weekend at the FDCP Cinematheque

For three days, the FDCP Cinematheque will be featuring the Georgian Film Festival, three beautiful films from Georgia for three days; May 22, 2015 (Friday), May 23, 2015 (Saturday), and May 24, 2015 (Sunday). Bolo Gaseirneba (The Guardian)
Gogliko is a person who lived the war; he is the child of the 1990's; a so called "lost generation". He left the prison after a 16 year imprisonment. He is suprised that most of his family and friends have died during the Civil War period. His personal life has drastically been altered and cannot get used to the modern life.

Quchis Dgeebi (Street Days)
In modern time Tbilisi, Georgia, the cops arrest Checkie, a 45-year-old jobless heroine addict and was tasked to introduce 16-year-old Ika to drugs, so that they could blackmail Ika's politician father. If Checkie agrees to cooperate he'll get paid, if not he'll go to jail. And because Checkie desperately needs money for his family, he agrees. Cops give him 2 days to set up everything. And as he set out to accomplish his task, he changes his mind.
