First Orc Image from WARCRAFT Released Online

"Warcraft" is still a year away but everybody has been too excited about how this epic film is going to look like... [hit the jump to continue]

The first Warcraft image has been released online, and rather than the human actors, it provides a close-up on the character played by Robert Kazinsky: the orc Orgrim. Orgrim is Durotan’s right hand and a brave warrior destined to wield the Doomhammer: a weapon of orc legend. Durotan is played by Toby Kebbell; he is the lead protagonist of the Horde and fighting to protect his people from extinction.

Industrial Light and Magic based its concept art from Blizzard Entertainment (the game company that created Warcraft) itself, and merged it with photos and scans of Kazinsky. This is positively awesome because from the looks of it, this character looks too realistic that you can see how the acting of emotions can be manifested effectively.

"Warcraft" is based on the popular video game about the epic fantasy and medieval war between the Orcs and the Humans. It stars Travis Fimmel, Paula Patton, Toby Kebbel, Rob Kazinsky, Ben Foster, Daniel Wu, and Clancy Brown.  Warcraft is set for release March 11, 2016.
