STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS is the official title of Episode VII

Just days ago, we reported that principal photography for the latest Star Wars movie has wrapped. Now, Lucasfilm has revealed the official Star Wars: Episode VII title, "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" and of course, the title makes sense, considering that this will be a return from the supposed-happy ending that "Return of the Jedi" (Episode VI) had. We have yet to get an official synopsis for this upcoming epic.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is due in theaters on December 18, 2015 and stars John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Harrison Ford, Adam Driver, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Lupita Nyong’o, Oscar Isaac, Domhnall Gleeson, Andy Serkis, Gwendoline Christie and more.

Star Wars Episode VII's " Force for Change" Campaign Video teases X-Wing

Months ago, we reported about director J.J. Abrams unveiling “Force for Change”, which gave fans a chance to win a visit to the set of Star Wars: Episode VII and cameo in the film in exchange for making a donation to UNICEF.  Even if you didn’t win the top prize of the visit and the cameo, there were still prize levels based on the amount of your donation, and most importantly, you were contributing to a good cause.  Now, Abrams has come out with a new video for the cause, and it serves as a teaser for the upcoming Episode VII. Star Wars: Episode VII Script Changes and Casting News

Finally some news for STAR WARS: Episode VII! There had been changes in the script wherein the lead characters for Episode VII may now be the original trilogy characters: Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), Leia Organa (Carrie Fisher), and Han Solo (Harrison Ford). JJ Abrams will indeed direct STAR WARS

ABRAMS, IT IS
After weeks of rambling rumors, denials, and many other shortlist stories, it is now confirmed that J.J. Abrams will be directing Star Wars: Episode VII.  Lucasfilm Chief and Star Wars producer Kathleen Kennedy has apparently been courting Abrams for a while, and Abrams himself “revealed” in December that he turned down the directing gig because he’d “rather be in the audience not knowing what was coming, rather than being involved in the minutiae of making the film.” Looks like if the producers would be gambling something as big as Star Wars, at least gamble on somebody who seems to know how to make it right. And I assume they never stopped bugging Abrams about it.

Star Trek 2 Villain Finally Revealed?

His Name is Mitchell. Gary Mitchell.

After much speculation about who the villain of the next Star Trek movie is, Karl Urban who plays Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy in the new Star Trek line-up, may have accidentally revealed that the villain is Gary Mitchell; a villain from the original Star Trek TV series, specifically, the series' first antagonist. During a promotional junket for his upcoming film Dredd, Urban told SFX about what it was like to work with Benedict Cumberbatch, who is cast as the movie's villain:

“He’s awesome, he’s a great addition, and I think his Gary Mitchell is going to be exemplary.”
