Deadpool shoots in March; set for release February 2016

Many of you already know that the Deadpool movie is finally happening. And now, things as moving forward as Deadpool is set to start filming in Vancouver in late March. Visual effects veteran Tim Miller is still onboard to direct the Deadpool movie with a release date set for February 12, 2016.

Casting for the Deadpool film is ongoing to so we’ll likely hear more additions as the March startdate looms closer, but most recently T.J. Miller (Silicon Valley) and Ed Skrein (Game of Thrones) were reported to be in talks to sign on.

It has not yet been announced if Deadpool would indeed be Rated-R, as it should if it wants to be more true to the very irreverently violent comics character, but it's not a surprise if they have it PG-13 for the theaters and a director's Rated-R cut for the home video release. Let's just hope that studios will have confidence enough in this project to give it that Rated-R fans demand.
