Ilonggo Animated Movie "Pikyaw" to be screened at SM Cinema

The first all-Ilonggo full-length animated movie entitled "Pikyaw" will be shown this February 26 to 28, 2014 at the SM City Iloilo Cinema, 1:00 to 5:00 PM. Tickets are sold at P 99.00 only. The story of "Pikyaw" centers upon three kids who become champions who will restore peace in the encanto world of Calixto."Pikyaw" features an all-Ilonggo artists ensemble, it is the first animation movie that will feature an all-Hiligaynon dialogue with various sites of Iloilo City as backdrops. PIKYAW is a feel-good story of overcoming cowardice, arrogance, and conceitedness between three young boys. It teaches the value of respect, modesty, and courage. The film is written by Mahnnie Q. Tolentino, directed by Arnold Fuentes, and produced by the Multimedia Arts & Graphics Ensemble (MAGE), Inc., University of Iloilo - PHINMA College of IT Education, Think Logic Records.
