Jon M. Chu takes on the MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE

After the success of his G.I. Joe: Retaliation, which really redeemed the franchise from its awful first movie, Jon M. Chu seems to be now the man who is in charge of bringing the world of the MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE to the big screen. Captain Planet and the Planeteers being developed as a live-action movie

Captain Planet and the Planeteers may have been one of the corniest cartoon shows that have come out in the early 1990s, but it certainly was one of the most successful and most popular cartoons ever. Plus, it was a good show that promotes environmentalism among children. Now, this cartoon has been picked up by Sony for a live-action movie adaptation. [read the rest of the article after the jump]
