Eugene Domingo Comedy "Instant Mommy" at the FDCP Cinematheque this week

This week at the FDCP Cinematheque, we will surely be entertained by Eugene Domingo's underrated comedy "Instant Mommy" where we see her star opposite Hollywood-based Japanese actor Yuki Matsuzaki (The Last Samurai, Letters to Iwo Jima). Eugene will be playing Matsuzaki's fiancee, and falsely claims that she is pregnant so that Matsuzaki wont leave her. The FDCP Cinematheque is located at the B&C Square Building, Solis Street, Iloilo City (near BPI and East West Bank). The Cinematheque is Iloilo's home of quality indie films and art films from the local and international cinema.

"Instant Mommy" follows the story of Bechayda (Eugene Domingo, a two-months-pregnant wardrobe assistant for TV commercial production. In the fear of losing her Japanese lover, Kaoru (Yuki Matsuzaki) and her dreams of a better life, she embarks on a plan that will get herself out of her predicament. Or so she thinks. "Instant Mommy" is written and directed by Leo Abaya, with a screenplay co-written by Chris Martinez and Jeffrey Jeturian, and stars Eugene Domingo, Yuki Matsuzaki, Luis Alandy, Rico J. Puno, Shamaine Buencamino, and Tuesday Vargas.
