The Superhero Character named Cyborg to join the Untitled Superman/Batman Movie

Oh dont look now, coz theyre also adding the superhero CYBORG as one of the characters for the upcoming yet-untitled Superman/Batman movie. The sequel for MAN OF STEEL looks like it does not want to focus merely on Superman (played by Henry Cavill), but seems to be aimed at introducing a whole lot of characters. Of course, we already have Batman to be played by Ben Affleck, Wonder Woman who will be played by Gal Gadot. And now we're having Cyborg, and he will be played by Ray Fisher. Just like me, almost all of you may not know who Ray Fisher is. It's because he's not really an actor; Ray Fisher is an American football player.

In the comics, CYBORG is Victor Stone, while visiting his parents (who are scientists), a freak laboratory incident occurs and a monster severely mutilates him. In order to save his life, his father outfits him with experimental prosthetics of his own design.

However, the equipment can not be worn inconspicuously, thus horrifying Victor upon seeing much of his body and part of his face replaced with sheer metallic limbs and implants. Although Victor wants to die at this shock, he eventually adjusts enough through his resulting physical therapy to control his implants with suitable skill. Eventually, Victor finds a new purpose as he equips his weapons attachments. He joined the superhero group The Teen Titans, and has since fought on the side of good.

The more and more I read about news on this upcoming Superman-Batman movie, I am getting more disgusted and outraged by their decisions. As I have said in previous articles, the DC Universe movies are too engrossed on cashing in on the superhero-group trend that Marvel did with Avengers and their Phase 1 and Phase 2s. They are barely on their first movie (technically speaking, counting out the other DC movies that failed) on their Justice League universe, and they already want to rush into what is already a Justice League movie. They are doing it all too swiftly, clumsily, and recklessly, that it would not be a surprise if it all crumbles down because it lacked enough foundation.

Let's just hope that I am wrong about it. After all, we do have David S. Goyer as the writer on this one, and Affleck’s Oscar-winning Argo scribe Chris Terrio performed the most recent rewrite. So let's hope that will save it. Anyway, we also have Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons will also be the Bruce Wayne's trusted butler Alfred Pennyworth. Holly Hunter, Callan Mulvey, and Tao Okamoto will also be joining the cast, their roles have not yet been announced. And of course we have Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane reprising their roles.

The untitled Batman/Superman film is scheduled for release May 6, 2016.
