Academy Award-winning director Ang Lee has recently expressed interest in shooting a movie here in the Philippines, although he did not elaborate on it. Lee was in Metro Manila this week as a guest of Taiwan's de facto embassy, which honored him with a special screening of "Life of Pi."

Ang Lee is known for his films Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Hulk, and Brokeback Mountain. [read the full report on The Philippine Star Website]
