Man of Steel Viral Video: Zod Issues Statement to the People of Earth

June 14 is the date for the release of the upcoming Superman movie "MAN OF STEEL" and as that date approaches, comes the onslaught of production stills, new posters, interviews, and other forms of advertising. Today, a viral video was released via the Man of Steel facebook page, containing a cryptic video of General Zod making threats towards Kal-El (Superman) and all humanity [click the link below to view the full article and video]

Zod, or General Zod, is played by Michael Shannon (Revolutionary Road, Take Shelter, The Runaways). Zod is A Kryptonian general and megalomaniac with the same superpowers as Superman. The most popular version of him was portrayed in the 1980 movie Superman 2, and was played by renowned actor Terence Stamp.

Man of Steel is directed by Zack Snyder, and also stars Amy Adams, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Antje Traue, and Russell Crowe. And of course, Henry Cavill as the title role. MAN OF STEEL has its US release date on June 14. But we'll be having it ahead of them, with the Philippine release on June 12, 2013.
