Tikoy Aguiluz's Controversial Film "Tragic Theater"

In February 1999, a group of spirit communicators attempted to exorcise the then-abandoned Manila Film Center of ghosts. These supernatural beings were believed to be those of the victims from a fatal accident during its hasty construction. Unknown to them, something had long ago taken sanctuary inside the building feeding on the anger and misery of the victims' souls. They learned this secret too late and walked into a horrifying encounter. "Tragic Theater" is based on a book of the same title by G. M. Coronel who also wrote "Tomb Keeper". "Tragic Theater" is directed by Tikoy Aguiluz, and stars Andi Eigenmann, Christopher de Leon, and John Estrada. It is set to be shown this week, specifically opening on January 8, 2015.

"Kingsman: The Secret Service" is the new title of The Secret Service adaptation; sets official release date, posters, and trailer

The upcoming film adaptation of the Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons graphic novel series "The Secret Service" now has a new title and an official release date. Directed by Matthew Vaughn (who also directed "X-Men First Class" and that other Mark Millar story "Kick-Ass"), this adaptation has been retitled: "Kingsman: The Secret Service" and now has an official release date set on October 24, 2014. First Video Teaser for "X-Men: Days of Future Past" released

With Marvel just releasing the teaser for the second Captain America movie, now Bryan Singer and Fox has also released the first teaser video for the upcoming "X-Men: Days of Future Past". In the upcoming sequel/prequel, Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) has his consciousness sent back to 1973 to help Professor X (James McAvoy), Magneto (Michael Fassbender), and the rest of the X-Men: First Class crew stop the rise of the Sentinels, giant robots programmed to exterminate mutants.  It's really nothing but a ten second glimpse of the movie, but I'm sure lots of geeks out there are getting wet with excitement over this. "X-Men: Days of Future Past" is scheduled for release May 23, 2014. [hit the jump to check out the video]

Captain America: The Winter Soldier trailer released

The first trailer for Marvel's "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" has now been released. Posters and images have been revealed earlier as well. “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo from a screenplay written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. It stars Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson, Robert Redford, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders, Frank Grillo, Georges St-Pierre, Hayley Atwell, Toby Jones, Emily VanCamp, and Maximiliano Hernández. The Wolverine trailer comes out with GI Joe 2

While James Mangold’s The Wolverine doesn’t open in theaters until July, fans have been curious about when we’ll see the first footage from the Hugh Jackman starrer.  There were rumors that the first trailer would play in front of this week’s release A Good Day to Die Hard, but sources at Fox tell us that this is not the case.  The studio is targeting a trailer release in late March, with a possibility of it airing in front of G.I. Joe: Retaliation, though nothing has been confirmed.  Mangold himself mentioned on Twitter that the marketing would indeed start in late March.
