Predator Returns with Shane Black at its helm

The Predator will return in a new movie to be helmed by the great Shane Black, director of Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and Iron Man 3, and is the screenwriter of such classics as Lethal Weapon, Monster Squad, and The Last Boy Scout. Early reports state that the movie would be a reboot, but it was later clarified that that was not the case, and it would be a sequel. Why fix something that's not broken, right? Shane Black to co-write and direct Doc Savage

Shane Black, who's currently basking in the success of Iron Man 3, has his sights set to direct a movie adaptation of the classic American pulp magazine action hero; DOC SAVAGE. In fact, the deal has been closed, and pre-production has commenced. Black has long been trying to develop this adaptation for quite some time now. 

Doc Savage became a popular american pulp hero in the 1930's and 1940's. He was created by publisher Henry W. Ralston and editor John L. Nanovic at Street and Smith Publications, with additional material contributed by the series' main writer, Lester Dent. [Read More After the Jump]

Robert Downey Jr. to Retire from Iron Man Role

Robert Downey Jr. is undoubtedly the reason why Tony Stark a.k.a. Iron Man is one of the best characters (and one of the most interesting at that) to ever come out of a superhero movie. But all good things should have a nice pleasant ending, and of course, Downey cannot play that role forever. More than once, has he expressed his plans to retire from the role of Iron Man, and probably from other genre movie roles such as Sherlock Holmes, and focus more on personal simple, small movies. Iron Man 3 Advance Screening Skeds

There is much anticipation and excitement around the release of the latest Marvel movie IRON MAN 3. This movie is the start of the Marvel Phase 2 that will lead in to Avengers 2. Marvel officially confirms The Mandarin for Iron Man 3; & Extremis as well

As for Iron Man, ever since Ben Kingsley was cast as a villain in Iron Man 3, it was obvious (despite denials from Marvel) that he would be playing the Mandarin. Now, Marvel has officially confirmed that it is indeed The Mandarin. The recently released video clip at the San Diego Comic Con has also revealed that Iron Man's new suit can be summoned through force of will, which does indeed follow the Extremis Armor storyline in the comics. Happy Hogan (played by Iron Man's former director Jon Favreau) will also be playing a larger role in this movie. Iron Man 3 opens May 3, 2013.

Marvel's recent announcements during this year's San Diego Comic-Con has been the grand tidal wave of the convention. Marvel has made revelations about their upcoming movies. At the Iron Man 3 panel, producer Kevin Feige, Robert Downey Jr., Jon Favreau, and director Shane Black were present. A video clip was released and revealed several scenes such as Stark putting on the Iron Man suit by will, an action scene involving the destruction of Tony's Malibu home, The Mandarin putting on one of ten rings, among many other scenes, in a teaser/trailer clip. Of course, this electrified the audience in attendance.
