Heneral Luna is Philippines' Official Entry to the 2016 Academy Awards
Heneral Luna's blazing success is never slowing down anytime soon. This historical epic has been chosen as the Philippines' bet to the 2016 Academy Awards for Best Foreign Language Film category, Film Academy of the Philippines (FAP) director general Leo Martinez announced on Monday afternoon. No More Rupert Wyatt for Gambit
For some unpleasant news, "Gambit" has lost it's director Rupert Wyatt. It's unfortunate that this film just can't seem to catch a break from the negative vibes. Earlier this year, it was reported that the film's main star had walked away from the project, prompting everyone to think that the movie would never happen. Disney Reviving Mary Poppins
Disney is reviving one of their most beloved and iconic characters with a new Mary Poppins movie. Rob Marshall (Chicago) is on board to direct the new original live-action musical from a script by David Magee (Life of Pi). EW reports that the new Mary Poppins film will take pace 20 years after the original classic, in Depression-era London, and will draw inspiration from the existing works P.L.
