In THOR: THE DARK WORLD, the Dark Elf Malekith sought to return the universe to a state of pure darkness. To do this, Malekith has to wield the power of the force called the Aether, which has embedded itself within the body of Jane Foster. Thor has to do everything to protect Jane Foster, preserve the peace of Asgard, and ensure that the universe does not fall into sheer darkness, and to do this, he must seek the help of his brother Loki. Joss Whedon Rewrote Troublesome Scenes in THOR: THE DARK WORLD

In a display of extremely impressive effort of advance troubleshooting and evident care, writer-director Joss Whedon actually stepped in to do some rewrites for some troublesome scenes in THOR: THE DARK WORLD. Apart from master producer for these Marvel movies Kevin Feige, Joss Whedon plays the significant part as being the creative showrunner for all these Marvel movies, his contract with Marvel allows him to consult on all of the studio’s other properties.  Such that Whedon had a hand in the script for Captain America: The First Avenger, and now, we know that he has also stepped in to fix minor problems in the Thor sequel as well. Thor: The Dark World New Poster

Marvel has released a new poster for Thor: The Dark World. In case you don't know yet, this new movie continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself. In the aftermath of Marvel’s Thor and Marvel’s The Avengers, Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos…but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all. THOR: THE DARK WORLD is scheduled for a November 8, 2013 international release.

Marvel's Phase 2 Begins! Avengers 2 start filming 2014

PHASE 2 BEGINS
It has recently been reported that AVENGERS 2 will begin pre-production later this week, and will start filming in the UK (at Pinewood-Shepperton Studios) early 2014. In relation to this news, Marvel finally released the massive Marvel Cinematic Universe: Phase One box set earlier this week, and included in the collection is a bounty of extras from the studio’s past and future films. Marvel's Phase Two Begins

Marvel's recent announcements during this year's San Diego Comic-Con has been the grand tidal wave of the convention. Marvel has made revelations about their upcoming movies.

Marvel, with producer Kevin Feige acting as the Watcher over its current projects, is working on 4 movies in active development.
For 2013: Iron Man 3 (May 3, 2013), and Thor: The Dark World (November 8, 2013).
And for 2014: Captain America: The Winter Soldier (April 4, 2014), and Guardians of the Galaxy (August 1, 2014).
