Chinese Filmfest at the FDCP Cinematheque this week

A Chinese Film Festival will be gracing the FDCP Cinematheque this week, featuring various beautiful and award-winning films from China. The festival is scheduled from June 9 to 14, 2015. Admission is free for the festival this week. The FDCP Cinematheque is located at the B&C Square Building, Solis Street, Iloilo City (near BPI and East West Bank). The Cinematheque is Iloilo's home of quality indie films and art films from the local and international cinema.[hit the jump to continue]

Chinese Film Festival 2014 at the FDCP Cinematheque this week

This week, the Film Development Council of the Philippines in cooperation with The Cultural Office of the Embassy of the Peoples Republic of China, brings us the 2014 Chinese Film Festival. This year's films feature some interesting films, some of them are martial arts packed with Donnie Yen, yes, the star of Ip Man himself. We also get to see an epic action comedy produced by and stars Jackie Chan, and a drama movie which has Jet Li in the lead; an all-drama Jet Li movie, I bet youre curious now. Chinese Film Festival to be held at the Iloilo Cinematheque

The Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) through the Film Cultural Exchange Program (FCEP), and in cooperation with Cultural Office of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China, is proud to present a number of films from China to be screened at FDCP Cinematheque Iloilo, with their Chinese Film Festival. The films that will be presented are "Forever Enthralled" (2008), "The Founding of a Republic" (2009), "Aftershock" (2010), "Confucius" (2010), and "Lost on Journey" (2010). [hit the jump to continue]
