Jared Leto's First Full Joker Image

Over the past weeks, the net has been gradually revealing Jared Leto's look for his role as Joker in the upcoming DC movie "Suicide Squad". Now we get to see his first full-on Joker look. [hit the jump to continue]

What I love about this image is that it references the image from the monumental Alan Moore graphic novel "The Killing Joke". The thing I'm not so thrilled about it, though, is all the tattoos that look a bit corny and too "forced-to-be-rock-n-roll-hip" kinda reminds me of how Sony tried to forcefully make Peter Parker be a "cool skateboarder" rather than just stick to the comics of him being a nerd.

But then again, that's just a first impression. And I do remember hating the first image of Heath Ledger as the Joker, yet recanting those opinions when I finally saw the movie. So... Whatever will be, will be...

On a little joke on the side, I cant help comparing this Joker image with Macaulay Culkin's "Home Alone" image though. At least we can imagine what happened to that character when he (it) grew up.

Suicide Squad is currently in production and due in theaters on August 5, 2016. The film also stars Will Smith as Deadshot, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc and Viola Davis as Amanda Waller.
