On the other hand, the movie which bagged the most awards (including the Audience Choice Award, Special Jury Prize, Best Screenplay for Antoinette Jadaone) was "Six Degrees of Separation from Lilia Cuntapay". This semi-documentary chronicles the career of Lilia Cuntapay, the veteran actress who has appeared in countless local movies and TV appearances playing the almost same roles of aswang, yaya, or creepy old lady. She also won the award for Best Actress on the festival (shared the Best Actress award with Maricar Reyes for "Anatomiya ng Korupsyon").
Bong Cabrera (Sa Ilalim ng Tulay) was named Best Actor while Michael Bonapos (Sa Ilalim ng Tulay) and Jojit Lorenzo (Anatomiya ng Korupsiyon) as the festival's Best Supporting Actor. On the Best Supporting Actress category, Geraldine Villamil (Six Degrees of Separation from Lilia Cuntapay). The Best Musical Score was awarded to both Teresa Barrozo for "Ka Oryang" and Ronald de Asis for "Sa Ilalim ng Tulay", Best Production Design to Kaloy Uypuanco for "My Paranormal Romance", Best Editing to Ruben Aquino (My Paranormal Romance) and Leo Valencia (Six Degrees of Separation from Lilia Cuntapay).
The Cinema One Originals Digital Film Festival is an annual film festival sponsored by Cinema One, which is owned by ABS-CBN, and has helped in the promotion of the local indie film industry, and has likewise lauched fresh new filmmakers into the scene. Previous champions in this festival include the phenomenal "Yanggaw" and "Wanted Border" which was filmed in Iloilo and directed by Ray Gibraltar, who is from Guimbal, Iloilo.
The List of movies included in the festival this year are as follows: Anatomiya ng Korupsiyon, Big Boy, Cartas de Soledad, Di Ingon Nato, Ka Oryang, Mga Anino sa Tanghaling Tapat, My Paranormal Romance, Sa Kanto ng Ulap at Lupa, Sa Ilalim ng Tulay, Six Degrees of Separation from Lilia Cuntapay.
